Originally from East Galway, Ireland, Imelda has always been exposed to the most beautiful of natural sceneries that influence her paintings.  Imelda's refined sense of aesthetic stems from these spiritual surroundings, growing up in the beating heart of the Irish culture, natural beauty & vibrant community where many famous artists often flock to. 

Imelda's art work is unpredictable, and deeply personal.  Her work is irreplaceable, due to it being a direct expression and without the confines of realism, where she invites the viewer to find inner sanctity and explore their own emotional interpretation of the often visceral colours and forms combined.
